• June 22-28, 2025 – Summer camp this year? Hot. Like, “unprecedented heat wave” hot. But amazing staff and accommodations kept spirits high. Well, except for the missing an entire wall on one side of the Adirondacks. No worries, though, scouts are resourceful, and Tony whipped up some tarp walls like a pro. Problem solved. Ando was on staff, teaching fishing and wildlife skills and keeping Troop 109 in line. Half the crew went zip lining, while the other half decided crawling through a pitch-black, muddy cave sounded like a good idea. Spoiler alert: they should’ve brought a change of clothes. On the way home, the scouts hit up the coolest pizza-and-arcade joint in North Florida, because what’s an adventure without a victory slice and a few rounds of electric guitar?
