Lions Club Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser & Service Hours

Sign up for Lions Club annual Saturday morning pancake breakfast. It has been a long standing tradition for Troop 109 to volunteer to help in the kitchen with cleanup for service hours as well as fundraising. This is one of our biggest fundraising opportunities each year.
Each Saturday morning from January to March we need 2 scouts in class A uniform (wear Class B underneath) from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. If you are First Class and above this is a great opportunity to get in Service hours. If you are going to Summer Camp, this is a great way to help fundraise to keep the cost down!
Please RSVP for the Saturday you will be volunteering for: Signup Genius
CAMP CARDS

We are almost at the start of CAMP CARD SEASON! Don’t miss out on the best opportunity to EARN your way to camp.
Scouts receive a 50% commission on each $10 card sold. This initiative is specifically intended to help EARN your way to Day Camp, Resident Summer Camp, Winter Camp or National High Adventure activities.
Each card entitles your customers to self-select up to 10 premium discounts from a custom BSA website powered by the Entertainment discount network. Enjoy up to 50% savings in dining, shopping, attractions, travel, services and online deals. Customers simply print their savings or redeem at the merchant by showing their smart phone (details on the back of the center portion of the camp card). As an added value, some great vendors like Legoland Resort and Dick’s Sporting Goods have signed on to be local sponsors (the three break-off coupons on the front of the card).
MERIT BADGE CAMP

The Southwest Florida Council will be offering a one week-long sessions of online merit badge camp beginning Monday, March 14th for any Scout currently registered to a Scouts BSA or Venturing unit. This is a unique opportunity for Scouts to earn badges, not readily available at their units, from the comfort of home. All badges will be taught by qualified, adult instructors approved by the Council Advancement Committee.
After registration, Scouts will receive a Zoom Video Conference meeting code (separate e-mail to be sent Sunday night prior to the start of that session, not on your registration receipt). Please install the free Zoom Video Conference app (www.zoom.us) on your phone, tablet or computer prior to the class. Scouts will also receive a class specific e-mail address to send all homework to.
